Constanța Oil Terminal is the biggest one in Romania. It is interconnected with the Romanian refineries, through Conpet Ploiești Company. The oil terminal is connected to the national railway network, to the national road network and the Danube – Black Sea Canal.
In January-October of this year, Azerbaijan exported 869.6 thousand tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from oil shales worth 475.9 million US dollars to Romania.
As Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, compared to the same period in 2024, the indicator in value terms increased to 125.1 million US dollars or 35.7% and in volume - to 283.9 thousand tons or 48.5%.
During the period under review, Romania ranked fifth among countries to which Azerbaijan exported oil and petroleum products.
It should be noted that from January to October 2025, Azerbaijan exported approximately 20.8 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products, valued at over $10.9 billion.
Compared to the same period in 2024, this indicator in monetary terms decreased to $1.9 billion (15%), and in volume increased to 182.6 thousand tons (0.9%).
